2. For the first time I could see the store with new
eyes. Normally when we come in, we saw just
what we wanted or what we were looking for. We
forgot to observe what might really be a different.
With new insight, I noticed the layout of the
store, what it brought to my eyes. For example for
the store in the picture, I never looked at the
name, what drew me in was the fantastic theme
inside, there were a lot of candies for diferents
tastes. The door is always closed, what it brought
the amazing feeling of being in a "kid's magic
world“ when you open the door as it was totally
designed for a child's eyes, but it made the adults
want to travel in this magic world. It was a
pleasant store with no loud music and products
from different companies and countries all
arranged and categorized on shelves.
3. This store got my attention for two reasons.
First was the way it displayed
information, and second because the items
on sale were
hidden at the back of the store. If you
needed to buy something here, and you had
doubts about the products, you may have
had to ask for help. Because that didn't
normally happen very quickly, this store
had all the information about the products.
In relation to the items on sale, they hid
them in the back of the store. It's the kind
of store that wouldn't have me spending a
lot of time inside it because of its
environment.
4. This is the kind of store that makes you feel
at home. It is designed for the whole
family, especially for mothers who need to
bring
their kids with them. This store allows the
kids to play with the toys and also offers
story time for the kids. At the entrance they
have a real pet who gets the kids' attention.
This store also has a theme and a very good
sales person who talks to you as soon as you
enter.
5. I noticed that I have new insights about stores after observing a few of them. I
noticed many hidden details like things that are really important for us to see.
One of these is "sales" at the back of the store, and that I would not see them
until after looking at the new items and when I am already carrying a lot of
things. But what surprised me was that the design of the store as it drew me
in even when I didn't need anything from that store. I just went inside even
when I was not persuaded to buy anything, but it was the look of the store or
its product theme that made me enter.
