2. This was my Twitter
account when I first
started it. I began with
following 0 people,
had 0 tweets, and
0 followers. It was
interesting to look
around and find
people that would be
helpful and
resourceful to
follow.
3. This is my
Twitter account
a few weeks
after creating it.
I have followed
122 people, and
have gained 49
followers. I have
been tweeting &
retweeting a lot.
I use this Twitter
account for
sharing
resources and
looking for
educational
resources with
other people.
4. I wanted to share this account because I have found it to be the most
valuable of all the accounts I have followed. Most of my retweets have
been from this account. It is such a general education account, that has
such a large variety of information from homework, to technology, to
student engagement in the classroom. I have found so many resources from
this account and hope to continue to learn from it in the future.
5. This is Discovery Education. Many teachers have heard of or been to a
Discovery Ed demonstration. They are mainly about Science. They have all
sorts of experiments and information that will help engage students in
learning. I have found many of their tweets useful and hope to use them with
my future classroom and students.
6. Edublogs is another really great technological resource that I found. They have
shown ways to integrate online blogs and technology into student learning. I
have found several articles and resources to help put this into play in my
teachings.
7. I couldn’t allow myself to leave out this one. Edutopia is a fantastic resource!
This is another group that I continuously retweet. It is all about education and
what works with students in the classroom. I can’t wait to apply some of what
I learned from them with my own classroom. I have learned so much and I will
continue to keep up with this one to make sure I keep testing the outstanding
resources they continue to share!
8. I have found that in
making this PLN, I
have really learned
a lot about education
and technology. I love
that this is such an easy
way to share resources
with others and to
obtain information from
other teachers and
professional learning
networks! There is so
much out there to learn
and I want to keep up
on my Twitter and
continue learning all
that I possibly can!
