We are excited to sponsor his visit and give our students an opportunity to speak with the author of one of the 2010-2011 South Carolina Young Adult Book Award nominees, Something Wicked.Gratz will spend the morning at BSHS 9th Grade Campus and will join us for the afternoon. He will be making three presentations:12:00-12:45 “Stealing Shakespeare” Gratz will discuss Shakespeare’s influence on writers.1:00-1:45 “From Brainstorm to Bookshelf” Gratz will discuss the discipline it takes to be a writer.2:00-2:45 Q & A Gratz will meet with students who have read at least one of his books and answer their questions.Gratz will be available to autograph his books between sessions and after the 2:45 session ends. BSHS supports this program and encourages our students to read from the list of 20 nominees each year.
