The first step towards change and to work more effectively within a group culture and its dynamics is to understand
why we act the way we do; then understand why others act the way they do. Just as individuals have unique styles;
groups also tend to develop their own styles or cultures. This culture is a combination of behaviours, values, and
attitudes that most people in the group take for granted.

Course Description & Learning Objectives

In this ½ day course you will learn how to interpret the diversity of interpersonal styles in your group culture.
Supporting 4 types of group culture and based on data drawn from the Everything DiSC® profiles that members of
your team have completed you will explore, discuss and action:

Exploring Diversity in Your Group Culture
       What we mean by diversity
       Interpreting each other’s priorities using comparison reports
              Discover how two people fit on a 6-part trait continuum
              How understanding the traits will help you

Group Dynamics
      Interpreting your Group Culture Report
             The hallmarks of each cultural style
             Percentage of your group members by cultural style
             How understanding the percentages of group members by style will help you

Reward and Criticism in Your Group Culture
      Understanding what cultural styles reward & criticize
            How understanding what cultural styles reward & criticize will help you

Benefits and Challenges in Your Group Culture
