might otherwise be difficult to remember

1. Focus all of your attention on the speaker
2. Keep your eyes focused on the speaker if listening to a speech
and maintain eye contact when conversing one-on-one
3. Keep an open mind while processing the speaker's information
4. Actively listen to the speaker by using body language cues
5. Do not interrupt the speaker even if you don't agree with what
he is saying.This is a sign of disrespect and should be avoided.
Instead, wait until he is through speaking to give your opinion.
