Often people talk about their marketing efforts, saying, "I tried email marketing, but it didn't work for me" or "I sent a sales letter and we didn't win any customers".   But trying something once isn't a good test of whether it's effective. Successful marketing involves being consistent and doing things again and again to build relationships over time and find out what works for your business.
