Mobility Projects:

wharf structure layout and mounting
arrangement available for wireless
equipment. To overcome this we
used Industrial Bes Long rang wifi
equipments, this was the first
Installation of ALATAI wireless
equipments In India for RDT it was
Psion equipments.
After a successful deployment at
NSICT, DP WORLD has replicated this
in ICTT Cochin ,both this setup are
under maintainers contract with us
form next 5 year. .
36. Whirlpool Pan India WMS projects along with
Ingram:
Project scope was to implement wifi and wired
network with mobility for warehouses across
India.
This include 50 warehouse and 4 RO we had
deployed Cisco WiFi solution with centralized
controller. The total network consist of 150
Access Point 4, WLC and 45 nos 2811Router, 45
nos. 2960 switch, along with barcode printer.
Since warhorses are huge this also involve LAN /
OFC network. Total project was divided in 2
phase with duration of 9 month, now after
completion this are under AMC with us for nest
3 year.
37. POSCO ICT Co, Ltd. Korea received a contract for
Supply, Installation & Configuration of Manufacturing
Execution System (MES) - PKT-1A in Bhilai Steel Plant
from Steel Authority of India, Bhilai Steel Plant, Bhilai:-
POSCO ICT has identified SIPL as most suitable partner
to execute Campus network and Yard Management
System ( YMS ),
The Project scope include site study, deigning,
planning, execution and maintenance of Plant
network, Wifi, and RDT system for next 5 year.
Challenges Bhilai Steel Plant was one of the oldest,
operational plant of country.
This network infrastructure consist of 10 kilometer
OFC, UTP 75 nos Cisco Wireless Access Point, 4 nos
Cisco 4400 WLC, Industrial Switches, IBM server, PLC,
and Isolators':
Mobility consist of 75 Psion HHT, 55 High-end VMT for
care operator and Industrial Barcode printer from
Zebra.
