The Ithaca Project is a mentorship program that has connected 476 mentors and mentees since 1994. It aims to develop individuals and organizations by improving leadership skills. The program gives women opportunities to advance their careers and teaches men about women's workplace experiences. All mentees are women who are paired with external mentors for one year of working together and mutual learning. The goal is to increase gender equality in organizations and regions, which leads to better results and higher profitability. The Ithaca Project provides mentees with support to advance to managerial levels and gives mentors knowledge about promoting equal career opportunities regardless of gender.
