2. Narrative?
In relation to whether or not to carry out a narrative during
the performance, I have chosen not to do this. This is due
to the fact the nature of my song doesn’t allow much
flexibility in order to make a narrative unless I add more
characters however adding more performers at this late
stage will cause a lot of issues with planning to film as I
haven’t recruited any one else due to the fact, my old plan
for my initial music video was only going to include one
talent. This would also have to be a man due to the song,
therefore this could cause problems in terms of confidence
and how comfortable each character feels around each.
However I also think a narrative wouldn’t fit the song as
well as performance or abstract would.
3. Performance?
In terms of performance I think this would fit my
music video the best as they are often based
within my genre and especially for this type of
song. I plan to base most of my music video
around my talent performing, which will include
her singing the song and doing other types of
abstract actions. This will also work the best due
to the fact I only have one performer as this is
very common to have in music videos, especially
within the pop genre.
4. Abstract?
My music video will be abstract buy only to a
minimal extent as I will not be having a completely
abstract theme to it however I will be making it fairly
random in terms of the types of shots used in
different locations, I will also be including some
abstract actions which adds elements of the
abstract theme to my music video as there will be
no story line to follow, leading to it been In this
format.
