8. LOIN GIRDLE (TRUTH)
1.The Girdle was actually a belt
2.The Roman belt was 6 – 8 inches wide to which
the body armour and weapons where attached
3. This was always prepared and on hand before a
battle
4. When the battle starts, it will be too late to
find Truth.
5. Every part of the armour connected to the Loin
Girdle (Truth)
6. Training is done regularly for battle readiness.

9. BREASTPLATE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS

1. Bronze backed with leather
2. This part of the armour protects the HEART
3. This means INTEGRITY and UPRIGHTNESS in
your life.

10. FEET SHOD
(Preparation of the Gospel Of Peace)

• It deflects sword strikes or thrown javelin
• This is to protect the FIERY DARTS of the enemy
• FIERY DARTS are ideas, thoughts
and suggestions

12. HELMET OF SALVATION
• Protection of the Head
• To be careful of what Thoughts, ideas and
suggestions we allow into our minds.
• To be mindful of the things we develop in our
minds thus allowing the mouth to speak it.

13. SWORD OF THE SPIRIT
• The Roman sword was a special kind that need a
lot of practice to master
• The word of God requires a lot of practice to
master
• I must retain scripture in order to call up it in the
day of trial

the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the
