  4. 4. Levers<br />Long stiff arm that rests and moves on a base called a fulcrum.<br />fulcrum<br />Levers lift and move heavy objects.<br />
  5. 5. Inclined Planes<br />Slanted platforms that connect high and low places. <br />Uses less effort but increases space moved. <br />

  7. 7. Screw<br />Long cylinder wrapped with threads.<br /> Threads<br />The threads hold objects together.<br />
