8. CAN ROTURA WINDMILL Mr. Julián is the owner of this very old watermill. He explains us that the mill has been working since 1.942.
9. CAN ROTURA WINDMILL It was built by his family, his father and other relatives. The heavy millstones were raised by roping them to a beam in the top of the mill.
10. CAN ROTURA WINDMILL Inside the mill we go upstairs through a stone staircase made on the same rock. Inside the watermill we can observe a stone structure which makes the connection between the pool and the land.
11. CAN ROTURA WINDMILL One of the most important advantages of this mill is that it is used to water all the cultivated land in the surroundings. We can observe all the land plenty of crops and with a lot of working mills.
12. CAN ROTURA WINDMILL Mr. Julián tells us that when this arrow-shaped tail was opened, the mill could take full advantage of the wind and when it was threatened by strong winds, it could be closed by using chains. The mill sails are as high as a person.
