Sophia is excited for her 12th birthday hot air balloon ride through an enchanted forest with her family. However, her annoying little brother Elliot is dreading it. When they arrive to take off, Elliot needs to use the bathroom, so their mom takes him while Sophia gets in the balloon early. Before anyone else boards, the balloon lifts off with just Sophia inside. She faints from fright and awakens alone in the dark forest. She must now find shelter and try to survive as animal figures creep out from the trees.

2. Sophia awoke and glanced at
her clock. Only three hours
left. The dream that awoke her
was the same one she had
been having for the past week.
She was walking thru a forest.
The bitter cold was sneaking
into her heavy down jacket
and making its way under her
many layers of clothing. She
held the lantern higher to see
if she could get a better look at
her surroundings. But it was
dark. Pure dark. Sophia
shivered and then nestled
deeper into her pillow and
warm comforter. Gladly it was
only a dream. Tomorrow will
be legendary.

3. The day had finally arrived! Sophia and her family were going to celebrate her
12th birthday with a hot air balloon ride across one of the most enchanted forest
of the world. Sophia, Elliot (her annoying little brother) and her mother would
start the day by having breakfast and then take a boat ride to a small island that
the hot air balloon tour would depart from.

4. Sophia could barely contain her excitement. Elliot, on the other hand
was dreading the trip.
“ I don’t want to do this!” Elliot said in a high-pitched squeal!”
“It’s my birthday present and you have no choice! I had to endure 2
hours of the horrible LEGO MOVIE for your birthday, and I didn’t whine
or complain!”
“Mom!!! We are going to crash and die!!! Just Die!!!”
Sophia rolled her eyes at Elliot and pushed him out of her view.

5. “All set? You guys can hop right in.” The hot air balloon attendant went
to grab his safety goggles and made way for Sophia’s family to board.
“I have to pee!”
“Of course you do!!!” Sophia was losing her patience for Elliot and took
a deep breath.
“I’ll take him hunny.. Be right back” Mom took Elliot’s hand and lead
him toward the bathroom.
Sophia jumped in the hot air balloon. Before she knew what was
happening, the hot air balloon started to lift off of the ground.
Sophia froze in terror. She tried to yell for help, but no words escaped
her, she held on to the edge of the balloon as it lifted higher and higher
into the air….

6. When Sophia awoke it
was just like her
dream.. She must of
fainted from her fright.
Now she was alone in
a dark forest,. Animal
figures were creeping
out from under snow
covered trees..
She decided she
couldn’t stay put and
freeze to death in the
cold. She needed to
find SHELTER.

7. Sophia walked and walked for hours… until finally she came
across…
