• collaborated with Danone to produce affordable,
nutritious yogurt for malnourished children
• built eyecare hospitals that saved many poor
people from blindness
• When money was lent to women after the Grameen
Bank was founded, they were not only better
borrowers, but also invested more of their earnings
into their households.
