Introduction
First off thank you for purchasing this book, I hope that the contents and techniques help you get higher
rankings.
This book will give you over 6000+ PR4 – PR10 (Yes we actually have a PR10 blog for you to get a back
link from) including dofollow links which will help you obtain the best ranking possible for your website.
Also, I have included some great links to free tools and also some other ways to build backlinks and find
relevant content.
These links have worked for me and I currently use them as they are compiled, I wanted to share this
information as I know how hard it is when starting out.
You will have to have certain knowledge for this book to make sense but you will already need a domain,
hosting and a website set up for this information to help you in any way.
The back links here should be implemented over time and not all in a short amount of time. Google (as well
as the other major search engines) do not like this and your site could end up banned. All techniques are
white hat so you don’t have to worry about doing something illegal.
Once you have followed my steps in this book you should be able to out rank your competitors between 6 –
12 months easily. Don’t give up and keep at it, that is the biggest mistake most people make!

Why You Need High Value Back Links?
More back links means higher rankings. It is pretty simple like that!
Each link you have acts as a sort of “vote” that will help boost your site in rankings. The more popular the
site the more respect your site gets.
A site that has a lot of inbound links is assumed to have good content and is popular with everyone else and
this will in turn boost the site.
It’s actually impossible to accurately determine the value of any single link and there’s lots of debate about
this subject. The value of any given back link is dependent on many different variables and no one, apart
from a few engineers at Google, knows exactly how link value is determined.
Here are some factors we can be pretty certain about:
Page Rank
Links coming from authority sites with high Page Rank are more valuable than links from small and obscure
sites. How the authority of the website is determined, is an entire subject of its own. You can assume that the
more traffic a website is getting, the more people are participating on that website and the higher the Google
PR of that website is, the more valuable a link from it will be.
Obviously, a link coming from the front page of a huge news-site with millions of visitors is going to mean
more in terms of SEO than a link coming from your cousin’s blog, which gets two views a week.
Anchor-text
The anchor text of your links is what determines which keywords you will rank for. For those who don’t
know, the anchor text is the text you click on, to follow a link.
When building backlinks make sure that you try to diversify the anchor text so that it doesn’t look spammy
and automated. Try different terms out and this will work to your benefit, sometimes I actually use my name
and other time just different key words I want to target.
General Guideline
The general guideline for link-building is actually quite simple: You want the backlinks to look natural and
not spam-like or fake. Actually read people’s posts and then comment something productive otherwise you
will probably be rejected and not even get a link. Would you accept a comment from someone who wrote
nothing worthwhile? No you wouldn’t. It is extremely important that you keep building backlinks, this
doesn’t mean it has to be hundreds per week, but make sure you do create some.

Start Your Site With A Bang
Is your new site indexed? Check by going to a search engine and searching for site:www.yoursite.com
If your site is returned, then great! If not, read on.
I’m assuming you already have done the necessary analysis into what your site will be about, keywords,
competition etc.
Your site should have some original content on it, not just one piece but many. Personally I like to start with
5 and I always get indexed, so I would advise the same with you. Don’t go and spam your articles with
keywords either as this will affect you negatively, just use them a few times spread throughout. Add the
content to the website and make sure that all the pages are fully linked properly. By this I mean, make sure
that your front page has links to different categories so that the articles can be found.
Tip: Make sure that your urls are readable e.g. www.doggy-toys.com/dog-toys/squeeky-toy/ and not
www.doggy-toys.com/page123.html
I would now make sure you submit your website to the big three, Google, Yahoo and Bing. This can be done
through the following links:
http://www.google.com/addurl/?continue=/addurl
https://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/submit
http://www.bing.com/webmaster/SubmitSitePage.aspx
*You may have to be logged in for these pages to work*
After you have done this, register for Google Webmaster, Bing Webmaster and Yahoo Site Explorer (You
may have had to do this for the previous step). Submitting your sites to these shows that you care about the
sites and thus will help get them indexed. Create a sitemap of your site, this is used so that spiders can easily
crawl your website. To find a tool to do this is easy, http://www.xml-sitemaps.com/ for example will help
create one. For WordPress users, there are multiple plugins that you can download, I recommend
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/google-sitemap-generator/
I now advise to submit your content to multiple article directories and also to multiple social bookmarks ( see
Article Marketing and Social Bookmarking in Methods To Gain Links) as this will help you get some initial
backlinks. This should get you a decent number of backlinks to start off with.

Methods To Gain Links
Do not go to a site that offers 100,000 links or packages like that, they won’t work for you at all.
1) Directory Submission
By far the best directory submission tool is Directory Maximizer, this was referred to me by another
SEO professional and I have never looked back. Sign up to the site and add your site with all the
necessary data. Once this has been completed make sure that you select more than 10 different
descriptions and titles which will benefit you in the future as it won’t be spam like. Again, don’t go
over board and do thousands but make sure you do around 50 to 200 in a month every month
otherwise there will be no point. You can also get the company to answer the acceptance emails for
you which I definitely recommend. The site has a subscription feature of 100 a month which I
recommend
2) Social Bookmarking
This can either be done by yourself or by someone else. I do recommend http://blurbpoint.co.uk/
however this can just as easily be done by yourself if you have lower amounts of articles or pages to
publish. Make sure all the big sites get submitted to, so for example, Digg, Stumbleupon, Reddit,
Mixx, Delicious and Yahoo Buzz are the top sites.
- Website Users
Go to http://blog.socialmarker.com/wordpress-plugin/ as this plugin will help you a lot (if you
don’t have WordPress there is a Javascript alternative). It will place a bookmark button at the
bottom of every post. You can then just click on each site you wish to bookmark the page on and
it is all done. This does take more time but it is free!
- Toolbar
ShareThis is a great toolbar service whereby when you are on a website you like (ie yours) you
can then submit it to multiple social bookmarking sites quickly. It works with any browser and its

3) Article Marketing
Article Marketing is a great way to gain extra traffic and also some great back links. The sites that I
use are www.ezinearticles.com , www.articlesbase.com and www.goarticles.com . I have seen
backlinks from all of these sites and they have definitely helped with my rankings. Go to the site and
register, then copy over your article and submit! Make sure the content is original, this is important
as search engines want original content and also you will be rejected from the article sites. Always
include 2/3 links back to your site in the content and 1 in the author biography!!!
4) Blog Network
This isn’t cheap but will definitely help you especially with Bing rankings. Basically you need to set
up 5 -7 blog websites in WordPress, whereby each of these must be on their own IP!! This is very
important and will help with ranking your site. I use www.gogetspace.com for my hosting here as it
is very cheap and you get a different IP for each site, it is important that you get c class hosting
though and not normal. Lots of blogs on one IP will not help index a site so that is why c class
hosting is better as they are over multiple. These sites need to have content on them so it will take a
bit of time and make sure they are updated constantly with new data (maybe once per week). I have
tried WordPress blogs with the carbonated content plugin as that will auto generate posts for you
from Yahoo answers. This copied content has worked out well for me, so I wouldn’t worry too much
about the originality of the text. You can still write original posts, it is completely your call. Make
sure that each page on the site has your sites listed as hyperlinks with the main keyword of your

choice. Also you need to list your blogs as well as your site you’re trying to promote.

5) Google Alerts and Google Blogs
Most people won’t have heard of Google Alerts, but I think it is a brilliant tool. The tool basically
will send you daily updates of new blogs that are found by keywords that you give. For example, say
you have a site about “Dog toys”, then Google Alerts will email you daily new blogs that fit those
keywords.
So based on the image above you will receive blogs related to your keywords that you can comment
on and get back links! Simple right?
An alternate way to find relevant content is to use blogsearch.google.com/ . This will find blogs for
you on any keywords you choose, in majority all have comments enabled so you should have no
problems getting backlinks here.
6) Forum backlinks
Using the list we have given you, register at forums and make sure you make some postings. The key
to this is to make sure your signature is a link to your website, also make sure that you have the
keywords you are targeting as the text. Post a few comments then move on to the next forum. Again
post something relevant otherwise you will probably get banned.

Useful Analysis Tools
So you have been building back links for a while now and want to check on your progress?
1) Yahoo Site Explorer
This is a great tool for seeing how many back links you have as well as your competitors.
http://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/
As you can see in the link below the in-links are your back links. These back links have been created
using the methods I have mentioned. Again the key is to build slowly, these links didn’t happen over
night!! You should as mentioned earlier, already have submitted a sitemap here.
2) Google Webmaster Tools
Google Webmaster Tools are very important in identifying how many back links are in Google as
well has keyword density, search statistics and errors. You can also submit your sitemap here which
will help indexing of your site.
In terms of back links you can see below that I have many links in Google.

I recommend this tool to everyone as the “Search Queries” tab will show you a lot of queries and
positions
3) Check Your Page Rank
There are lots of websites online, but by far is http://www.checkpagerank.net/
Type in the URL or the site you wish to check and off you go.
Notice how the backlinks are also shown, Google doesn’t show theirs on this site but as mentioned
before you can see this in the Google Webmaster tools.

Also useful but doesn’t always work. It will also show you what links on your site are dofollow or not which

Checking Your Current Rank
You should constantly check how your website is ranking over time so that you can see if improvement is
being made or not.
This would be hard to do on your own, but luckily there is a free piece of software that will do it for you.
It tracks all the major search engines and will tell you how well you are doing as seen below.
To download this product go to: http://cuterank.net/ I run this program everyday and you do see some
shocking increases.
Traffic Analysis
It is extremely important that you check your traffic statistics and use them with the cute rank program. If
you see that you are getting more searches for the term “Low Credit” then make sure you add it to the
program so you can find out where you are ranking. Do this for all keywords that are repeatedly being
displayed.

Why Dofollow Links are Important
From the list of backlinks we have provided, you can see that there are is a section for Dofollow
Dofollow links are important because search engine spiders follow them and take them into account when
preparing the rankings. Since dofollow links are outbound links and having many outbound links hurts the
ratings of the site, many webmasters started putting the nofollow attribute on their backlinks
Why are .edu and .gov links important?
.edu and .gov links are very important to top search engines and a backlink from these sites will be very
useful in ranking and PR.
This is why we have included them in the list for you.
Quick Do’s and Don’ts
DO build backlinks regularly not all in one go
DO build backlinks to all pages not just the main page of your site
DO try to post to similar websites when building backlinks
DO change anchor text between postings (keep to maybe 10 – 20 keywords)
DO write a constructive comment as this is more than likely to get accepted and also Google is getting
smarter in terms of spammy comments.
DO create lists on your website if you can
DO remember a meta description
DO vary your methods from article marketing, social bookmarking, video promotion etc
DO keep at it, it will work!
DON’T buy a blog spamming program as this might not work.
DON’T repeatedly post to one high PR backlink or domain.
DON’T buy huge packages of backlinks, this will most likely get you banned
DON’T over do the backlinks in a short space of time when building them manually
DON’T hide links on other sites.
DON’T link to sites with low PR, it just isn’t worth it.
