Access more than 1,150,000 company
profiles, company financials, industry
profiles, market research, & SWOT
analyses

2. To begin, go to balibrary.org and click on
the “Research” tab at the top.

3. Click on “Business, Careers, Technology”

4. Click on “Business Searching Interface”
and enter your Barrington Area Library
Card number if you are accessing the
database remotely.

5. This is the homepage for Business
Searching Interface. You can search for
company profiles, company financials,
industry profiles, market research, &
SWOT analyses.

6. If you click on the “Company
Information” tab at the top, you can
search for a company by name in the
search box or you can enter information
in the search options below based on the
criteria that you are looking for.

7. Once you have searched for a
company, you can choose the
company based on the official name,
ticker symbol, city, and revenue.

8. The company page lets you see the company
overview as well as the company’s financials,
subsidiaries, products, key executives, and
the industry they operate in. You can also
find related companies that are in the same
industry as well as find publications, industry
profiles, and SWOT analyses. You can print
out the information, export it, or save it.

9. If you click on the SWOT Analysis button,
you will be taken to a list of published SWOT
reports for the company. Choose the PDF for
the date you would like to view. You can
download or print these PDFs.

10. The other options will give you
access to the latest publications
available on Industry Profiles,
Country Reports, Product Reviews,
Trade Publications, and more.

11. You can click on “Company Profiles” on the
main page for detailed company
information and analysis.

12. Search through the alphabetical listing
or by company name in the search box.
Once you found the company that you
are looking for, click on the PDF
Complete Report.

13. The Company Profile is printable
and downloadable.

14. If you click on the Market Research
Reports on the main page, you can
search by reports, subject, or
publisher. It will let you know if it is
PDF Full Text.

15. Search for the publication date by click on
the “+” sign next to the year you want to
research. Choose the issue date that you
are looking for.

16. Choose the article that you wish to read.
You can also save and print any articles.

17. If you click on the “Industry Profiles”
tab on the main page, you can search
by keyword, industry, country, region,
or publisher. You will also be able to see
which are PDF Full Text articles.
