LEVEL I
EXERCISE DECRIPTION
THIS IS A VOCABULARY ACTIVITY TO TEACH THE PARTS OF THE
BODY. THIS IS TAUGHT IN LEVEL I FOR BEGINNER STUDENTS.
THIS KIND OF PICTURE DIAGRAM CAN BE USED TO TEACH ANY
KIND OF VOCABULARY. IT IS VERY MOTIVATED FOR THE
STUDENTS, THE STUDENTS LEARN BY DOING, AND ESPECIALLY
FOR THE VISUAL STUDENTS THE TEACHER CAN BE SURED THEY
WILL HAVE A BETTER UNDERSTANDING AND LEARNING OF THE
CONCETS INTRODUCED IN CLASS.
I CAN ASK MY STUDENTS TO DO A DRAWING AND SELECT ALL
THE DIFFERENT BODY PARTS OF THE BODY. THEY PRACTICE
VOCABULARY, SPELLING AND ONCE THEY HAVE DONE THE
DIAGRAM; THE TEACHER CAN ASK EACH STUDENT TO PRESENT
TO THE CLASS THE PICTURE DIAGRAM. THIS IS EXCELLENT FOR
LEVEL I STUDENTS, FOR STUDENTS THAT ARE VISUAL, KINESTETIC
AND AUDIO-VISUAL.
THE TEACHER WILL EVALUATE IF EACH STUDENT HAS IDENTIFIED
EACH BODY PART IN A CORRECT WAY.
I CAN ASK THE STUDENTS TO PLACE THEIR PICTURE DIAGRAM
ON THE BOARD AND ALL THE STUDENTS CAN LEARN FROM EACH
OTHER`S WORK.
ONCE THEY HAVE FINISHED THE DIAGRAM AND PLACED THE
CORRECT WORDS IN EACH OF THE PART OF THE BODY. I CAN
CONNECT THE ACTIVITY AND EITHER DO A LISTENING QUIZ
WHERE THEY HAVE TO SPELL THE WORD AND SHOW THE
DIFFFERENT MAIN PARTS OF THE BODY.
