It is our obligation as citizens to cooperate with our government, but as we have suffered a series of unfair treatments from the Chuxiong City government recently and are faced with the possibility of repercussions from them at any time, we have decided to temporarily take nonviolent and non-cooperative action against the agents and officials of all levels of all departments and organizations of the provincial government of Yunnan, China.

The Content of Nonviolence and Noncooperation
of the Second Home of Lifechanyuan

It is our obligation as citizens to cooperate with our government, but as we have
suffered a series of unfair treatments from the Chuxiong City government recently
and are faced with the possibility of repercussions from them at any time, we have
decided to temporarily take nonviolent and non-cooperative action against the agents
and officials of all levels of all departments and organizations of the provincial
government of Yunnan, China.
The content of nonviolence and noncooperation of the Second Home of
Lifechanyuan consists of these following seven principles:
1. We will honor, “Saints embrace the one as their method”(from Lao Tzu Tao Te
Ching). The Second Home of Lifechanyuan which is located in China, will only listen
to and follow the words of China’s highest leader of the Central government,

President Xi Jinping. Each day, we will study president Xi Jinping’s articles and
pronouncements seriously, and we will do things according to his requirements.
2. If local government agents or officials come to our home, whether they come to
visit, investigate, harass, or require us to act, we will neither listen to them nor talk to
them.
3. If local government agents or officials come to our home, even if they attempt to
threaten, intimidate, coerce, or persuade us, we will remain silent and avoid them.
4. If local government agents or officials come to our home, regardless of their
purpose, we will not talk to them nor ask them any questions, but neither will we
attempt to stop them or hinder them from doing their jobs.
5. If local government agents or officials come to our home, especially the police, and
they want to take somebody away, we will not move our feet, or our hands, or open
our mouths.
We will not fight with them, nor will we cooperate with them. We will just leave them
on their way.
6. We will not answer any phone calls nor respond to any correspondents from any
local government departments or organizations.
7. Should any problems occur in our home, we will not seek help from any
department or organization of the local government.
Maintaining a high state of civility is our lifeline. All activities of the Second Home are
