. Dell is a very successful company because of all the social media
tools they have.
. The main reason why there social media success worked was
because of human word of mouth. This is also called Direct
communication
. Direct communication is very useful because people talk a lot and
therefore can talk to someone about what they saw about dell on
the web.
DELL CONTINUED
. Dell likes to advertise there stuff on the web.
. The web allows 2 way dialogue between customers.
. Dell launched a social media ground control team to moniter and
report on all social media activities.
SUCCESS STORY
. One reason for there success is the great job they do
with building realationships with there customers.
. This is important because it allows direct engagement
with the customers. People hate talking to machines they
want someone who they can talk too and that will help
them

 Dell launched something called a listening command center
 . This was used so that Dell could see conversations between
customers and other stuff such as twitter posts and news paper
articles.
 . This allowed them to use feedback from those people to get new
ideas and also see what they can do to improve or help.

 The main source behind the listening command center is something called Radan6.
 . This allows Dell to engage, measure and listen across the whole social web.
 The topics talked about a lot are customer improvement, company improvement, Social
media feed back and customer feed back.
 All of this has made Dell a successful social media story ad a successful and large business.
KODAK
 . Kodak is the worlds number one imaging leader by a lot.
 There products get used mre than any other products in the world
almost two times as much.
 Kodak film takes over 45 million pictures every day and that number
is only increasing.

 . Kodak likes to use social media to get out important messages to
its customers.
 They feel like this is the best way to reach customers because so
many people use social media.
 . They are one of the most advertised companies in ther world on
social media.
. They have ads on every application you use.

 They have advertisements and business in 9 different European
countries.
 Having international businesses and advertisements helps with there
success tremendously.
 This is proably the main reason why Kodak is so successful because
so many people have access to them.

improve there companies.
 . They have a lot of different ways to get feedback from customers
such as using twitter and facebook and other tools like these.
