10.  The National Library of Turkey has started digitization
projects at 2004. The purpose of the digitization is to
protect the cultural heritage and transfer to next
generations and to reach all users throughout the
country and from around the world.
The NLT has 26.500 volumes of manuscripts collections.
Digitization of the manuscripts was started in 2004 and
26.000 volumes of manuscripts have been digitized by
the end of 2008.Efforts are underway to digitize the
remaining manuscripts.
