Baby boomers 1946-64 Gen X 1965-81
Gen Y – The millennial, net generation1980- 2003 (Could be
1976-2000?)
How to keep Gen Y Employees:
1. Throw them into the deep end on their first day
2. Publicly reward junior team members who are doing a great job
3. Ask frequent questions.
4. Give them personal attention - Constant contact
5. Emphasize long-term rewards, and set an example along with
rapid advancement and a competitive salary.
6. Short-term projects. Reducing boredom.
