8. What is Twitter?
What is Twitter?
Twitter is an online social networking and
microblogging service that enables its users to send
and read posts of up to 140 characters, known as
"tweets".
Who sees my tweets?
All posts made on Twitter are searchable unless your
account is private. However, only your followers are
subscribed to receive your updates immediately.
How do retweets (RTs) work?
Retweets or RT(s) as they are known in the Twitter world,
share another user’s tweet. If one of your tweets is
retweeted, it is shared with all of the user’s followers
Delete
and the process continues.
Can I delete a tweet?
Yes. Just visit your Twitter application on your phone,
select your user profile (usually labeled as “me”) and
select your profile. Then select the tweet you want to
delete and select the trashcan at the bottom of the
tweet you would like to remove.
