hell, as the main character on the
cover looks like a devil or a demon.
The title is called “Hellboy 2” which means
the character at the front is from hell.
He’s half stone/rock and half human.
Could this mean he has a soft side?

in horror.

used on victims
• Pig mask – hidden identity/the
unknown
• “Motel Hell” – gives us clues on
the location

4. I noticed that the colour
red is very significant
for horror themes as
it connotes
danger/blood. An
unidentified character
is also common and
leaves the viewers in
anticipation.
