CULTURAL MUSEUM PERTH, Australıa The design was to create spaces that promote engagement and collaboration, responding to the needs of the Museum and the community and to create a place for everyone, an interesting mix of heritage and contemporary architecture, that helps revitalize the Perth Cultural Centre while celebrating the culture of Western Australia on the world stage. The design is based on the intersection of a horizontal and vertical loop creating large possibilities of curatorial strategies for both temporary and fixed exhibitions CREATE A CIVIC PLACE FOR EVERYONE, mix of heritage and contemporary architecture, that helps revitalize the Perth Cultural Centre while celebrating the culture of Western Australia on the world stage. INCREASE PUBLIC PRESENCE IN THE AREA, especially when the museum is not officially open. THE DESIGN CAUSES THE INTERSECTION BETWEEN USERS FLEXIBILITY OF SPACES 2
  2. 2. 2 BUILDING AS REFERENCE POINT. 2 Portlands flatiron building, also known as ringlers annex and espresso bar is a historic two-story building in downtown Portland Since 1989. it has been listed on the national register of historical places. this small building has a triangular footprint because it sits at the end of a triangular plot. it was said to be the smallest commercial building on the west coast. over its lifespan, the building hosted a catering kitchen and a talk radio station. PALACE SQUARE St PETERSBURG Russia One of the most beautiful and harmonious ensembles of architecture in the world, Palace Square remains the main public space of St. Petersburg after nearly three centuries. Like Red Square in Moscow, Palace Square in St. Petersburg has been the setting of many major events in Russian history.
