The stereotypical audience profile
Who mainly listens to that music – Both, males and females, listen to this type of music but
my target audience tends to be more female.
Gender – Male and female.
Age – 16-19
Social Class – Working class
Interests–Listening to rock music, going to concerts,
playing instruments/singing, going out.
Dress sense–Band merchandise- t-shirts, hoodies,
shoes, hats etc. Skinny jeans, converse,
studded/fingerless gloves, wearing a lot of black.
Why they listen to rock music–A lot of songs in the
rock genre tend to consist of lyrics that almost
everyone or anyone can relate to. They also write
songs which can make people feel better about
themselves and how to look on the positive side of
things so they don’t feel unhappy about anything.
How often – They listen to it quite a lot and can be every day.
What they would like in magazines–They would want the magazines to include interviews
with their favoriteartists, latest news on a band member(s), a guide on upcoming concerts,
and competitions.
