Libraries faculty are available to
consult with disciplinary faculty
on data issues and leverage tools
such as the DMP Self-
Assessment Questionnaire ,
Databib, and the DMPTool.
The Data Information Literacy
(DIL) project is working on
designing educational
interventions and curricula that
can be implemented in different
institutions.
The Purdue University Press
(PUP) partnered with the
DIL collaborators to publish
a book that provides
concepts and ideas behind
data information literacy,
case studies from 5
different institutions, and
the “DIL Toolkit” which can
be used as a guide for
librarians.
The PUP partnered with Purdue Libraries
faculty and leaders in data management in
other institutions to publish this book
which provides a framework for
information professionals in the process of
managing research data through the entire
life cycle of a grant project.
The Data Curation Profiles (DCP) Directory is a
resource for library and information science
professional who want information about the
specific data generated and used in different
research areas.
The Purdue University Research Repository (PURR) is a
collaboration among the Purdue Libraries, the Office of
the Vice President for Research, and Information

collaboration and data management solution that is
used to assist with writing a grant proposal, create a
collaborative research space, and publish data sets.
