This document compares Netezza, Teradata, and Exadata databases across several criteria such as architecture, scalability, reliability, performance, compatibility, affordability, and manageability. Some key highlights are that Netezza uses an asymmetric massively parallel processing architecture while Teradata uses a true MPP architecture.
