Where We’ve Arrived: <ul><li>As a percentage of cost, software development, custom programming and commissioning have become much more significant than hardware </li></ul><ul><li>Many companies have seriously underestimated the need for and the cost of custom programming and system commissioning. As a result, most systems have failed to perform to their capability. </li></ul>
