The project is located in Los Angeles and is situated within the residential area of mainly Portuguese-Americans Our focus was to redesign an existing building that would accommodate a bull-fighting rink as well as the many traditional and growing issues the board members were facing Utilizing architect Alvaro Siza’s Setubal College of Education and the concept of a system of forms which collide and create nodes was integrated in the overall design

The project is located in a slum area of Tijuana, Mexico, which is hidden in the valley and next to the other residential neighborhoods Our focus was to create opportunities for self-sufficiency through balancing programs like a farmer’s market, utilizing local materials, and access to the communities In addition, my main goal was to deal with erosion control, transportation versus pedestrian safety/access, public nodes, and aesthetic beauty through natural vegetation/passive architecture
