How to write a wining cv or resume

1. How to Prepare your Resume
• Identify your selling points that are sought after by the prospective
employer
• Determine the resume format that accentuates your selling points

2. Guideline's for Writing for an Impressive
• A fresh graduate’s resume should not no longer thatn 1 or 2 pages
(A4-sized paper). Leave at least 1-inch margin on all four sides for the
paper.
• Tailor your resume to the specific job for your are applying. Highlight
skills and experience that are most relevant to the job. Position your
strongest selling points on the top half of the resume.

3. • Quantify your accomplishments whenever possible and describe how
they impacted the bottom line. Examples:
- Reduced operating costs by 30% in the first year
- Increased sales by 70% over the first two year, developing innovative
marketing strategies.
• Use the past tense to describe your work experience and extra
curricular activities. Use Present tense to describe your current job.

4. • Don’t use first person pronouns (‘I’, ‘my’) in your resume; save them
for your cover letter.
• Avoid anything smaller than 11-point ten for headings, 12- point
bolded is the preferred choice of most recruiters.
