Beautiful?
This architecture as source of artistic and creative
inspiration;
Appropriation of the modernist aesthetic, seen as
strange at first;
Many possibilities in terms of use of different and
local materials, mostly seen as “traditional” and.
Aesthetical and Functional contribute to the
architectural poetics and harmony.
21. eTwinning Annual Conference
Sustainable?
By raising awareness, we are contributing to the
preservation;
By sharing knowledge about the Modernist
Architecture we made young people understand the
importance of sustainability in architecture and how it
can take advantage of the environment;
By promoting new pedagogical approaches, we are
opening schools to new resources and methods.
22. eTwinning Annual Conference
Inclusive?
By enhancing the democratization of culture and
cultural heritage, alongside education (Faro
Convention), bringing the topic to the school
curricula, as well as digital technologies;
By promoting access to and participation in these
issues, regardless their personal backgrounds;
By using Minecraft to “break” these barriers
(learning “without realizing it”).
