2. To begin the applica*on process for any study abroad program at DU,
students MUST aDend a Study Abroad 101 Session to learn the basics of
applying and choosing a program that is right for them.

3. During a 101 session, students will go over various programs DU has to
offer: the opportunity to be a Cherrington Global Scholar, and the
deadlines for applica*ons. Here students diligently listen as a former
study abroad student explains the basics of going abroad.

6. Paris, France is a very popular choice for DU students when they are deciding
where to study abroad. DU junior, Meaghan Houghton has aDended the
mandatory mee*ngs and is planning on applying to study in France in the Fall.

7. Students MUST remember the deadline in which their applica*ons are due for the country and
program they choose. Advisors will go over this deadline with each student and give them all the
necessary paperwork, websites and resources in order to apply.

Bilbao, Spain and Patch went
to Rome, Italy. Each returned
agreeing that studying abroad
is a life changing experience
and are very happy the did it.
They encourage all DU
students to go in their
