• Heart patients who panic during the intervention period* may increase
the chances of suffering from a heart attack
• Heart patients living alone may not be capable of contacting emergency
services in case of a heart attack
• *Intervention period: The period a patient has to wait for a specialist appointment

Our Proposed Solution
• A strap consisting sensors will be
worn around chest area around the

• Via Bluetooth, an application on the
patients phone will read the Heart
Buddy feed and monitor the heart
