the most highly trained customer service representatives and is here

We welcome phone calls or emails for technical support and/or to
book appointments for service visits. All senior service technicians are
licensed by the State of CT and all technicians are PHTA (Pool & Hot
Tub Alliance) trained. Please call any time to discuss any of the

4. 1. Open the pool at least two weeks BEFORE you want to use it.
This will allow time to get the water filtered and cleared up. You
should expect that when the pool is uncovered that the water
will NOT be “swim ready”.
2. Open the pool BEFORE it gets hot outside. Cold water inhibits
algae and bacteria growth. Cold water also requires LESS filtra-
tion and fewer chemicals to stay clear (less expensive to operate
a pool with cold water). And you won’t have to work hard clear-
ing up a green or cloudy water problem. There will be less work,
and you will spend less money. Plus you get to enjoy the aesthet-
ics of a beautiful pool versus a winter cover.
3. If you have a heater, schedule an inspection and cleaning
service. This is not something normally included in a standard
“pool opening” – consider it like an annual home furnace clean-
ing. The heater will run smoother all year – and more efficiently.
Heaters are wonderful winter homes for mice, spiders and other
critters, all of which cause issues and reduce efficiency.
4. If you are using us to open your pool, note the following:
a. The water level under the cover needs to be at the mid-
dle of the skimmer/tile-line prior to our arrival so we can leave
the pool operating properly when done with the opening proce-
dures.
b. If you have a “tarp-style” cover, the water on TOP of the
cover needs to be removed prior to our arrival or we will likely
not be able to leave the pool operating properly when we are
complete. Also, there are additional charges to remove that wa-
ter.
5. If you have a sensitive well and are you using that to top off
the pool, slowly add water over a period of time. There is no rush
and no need to stress out the well or the well pump.
6. Get your chemicals supplies EARLY. Material shortages and
price increases are now the norm so don’t wait to have the
years’ worth of supplies.
