GMO engeneering system has a significat rule in human lives
GMO system is created many decades ago to support the increasing
number of World population’ s diet.
The impact that GMO engeneering food system has been making for
living being sinc e its existence until this present days, it is helping in fighting
poverty, minimizing famine, and increasing countless number of employees in
different fields such as in Economic, Engineer, Health and, Media etc.. It as
been stated that ‘’processed genetical modified organizm(GMO) food, are safe
to eat and that they have the potential to feed millions of people worldwide
who currentely go hungry’’ (Aelst).
Different classes of peaple eat processed GMO food.
In general not only people who have rich lifestyles consume this type of
food but people with poor lifestyles also, consume a such sort of food.
Most of the times, people eat a certain type of food not because they
want to have a balanced diet but yet because of food’s taste or sometimes. one
are eager to eat certain food very often because that food souds delicious to
her. She does not even think if is not appropiate to have a such type of diet
whch can endanger her health condition. Let us look at some contries’
consumption, developed countries like U.S, Switzerland, Denmark and
Australia there are active consumption of Processed GMO food. Comparing
with World third countries, such as Guinea Bissau. India and Somali where
there is poverty and other probables. Contemplatively. There are stimated
rates of consumption of common food. Despites of population number. One
fact of this, the national nutrition survey from Idia conducted in 2011 reported
that ‘’ 62% of Pakista’s population is food insecure while the Global Health
Indix(GHI)states that Pakistan is one ofthe most food insecure countries in
Asya’’(Rifaat).
Processed GMO food are legally expanding everywhere.
Many organization and communities are adoptind GM Engeering food
system to combat poverty and create more employees in the communities.
Several governments and industrial companies are also adopting GM
engeneering food systemjust to make people lives become more easier and
give them more profit. GMO System is the area that any organization such as
farmer community, local government or a State can adopt to give create more
employees and terminate with a country undergoig crisis. Crisis like,
increasing number of Unemployees, famine, lack of salary payment and Clean
water problem. Because by executing a resembling Project that will extremely
increase employees rate. For exemple. if, there adoption of a such Project from
farmer community that use to cut down Milions of trees every year to make
thousands of hectares of field just to plant rice. This arrangment is going to
spare lots of damages from the enviroment or forest. Therefore. More trees
will be growing and there will be more rain raining to water plantation of rice
and others plants but without a such Project only natural or common form of
plantation itself that could lead to a suddenly disapirence of forest. With this
effect,’’ river pollution, and soil erosion as land is being claimed for agriculture
and trees are felled for wood. A few thousand years ago, tropical rainforests
covered as much as 12% of the land surface on Earth, but today this has fallen
to less than 5.3%.’’(Powell)
Now let us see same contravesal ideas realated to this issue. It is
believed that processed GMO food causes many diseases
There are lot of syptopms and diseases going on these days and there is
also, a belief that people are getting sick due to the fact that Precessed GMO
food are produced or grown by using some synthetics drugs, enzymes and
chemical products so, that they can grow quick and faster as a result to yeld a
huge amount of crops and, numerous and healthy offsprings.
Adding lots of addictives in the genes of both animal and plant sources
coud be the main causes of the high risk of diseases and infections in these
nowdays. Besides, thanks to GMO divers vaccines and drugs are discovered to
treat many diseas. ‘’Protein products of introduced genes may be toxic or
allergic to certain individuals’’ including nuts. weath, or dairy products. If, by
chance a individual ate processed GMO food which introduced one of these
protein genes it may cause an allergic reaction to the person. Let us say for
instance, this keeps on happening and. What might happen with this
indicidual? Probable that may switch from a mild symptom to a chronic
symptom which may leter on, combine with other sypmtoms that the same
individual has exprienced and become a diseas such as asthma which is very
popular in these days.
Quotated from British Concil Magazine. World Health 7th April,2016 ’’Asthma
is a condition that affects hundreds of millions of people worldwide and more
than 5 million people in the UK are asthmatic, about one in thirteen people’’
(Russell) is asthmatic.
People worry about consuming safe nad health food.
People should be provided with food’s basic information because only
then food can be safe and healthy to feed.
People somtimes eat food without having a minimum background about
the food’s discription or sources. Some food contain excess of substances such
as fat, Sugars, alcohol, acids. And Sometimes other fertilizier such as ‘’Granular
triple superphosphate, Potassium chloride and Urea although. Today a variety
of agricultural fertilizers have been introduced in the light of scientific advances
and as any other industry agricultural industry has also benefited remarkable.’’
(Negai) One of the best way to ensure the safety of food is codify the food
digitally with all the necessary informations. Thus, when a costumer wants to
know the food’s discription. He or she should just grab the food and put it
infront of the FIRM (food Iformation Reader Machine).of course there will be
voice record and the time writing record on the food labell. İs the costumer
choice to read or listen to the record about the food. This matter is already
adopted by EU. A decision made under regulation (EU) N0/1196 /2011. The
obligation to provide nutrition information will apply from 13 December 2016.
As follows, ‘’Clearer and harmonised presentation of allergens (e.g. soy, nuts,
gluten, lactose) for prepacked foods (emphasis by font, style or background
colour) in the list of ingredients’’ And after the costumer learned about the
food. He could dicide wheter to buy or not. By doing so, there will be no harm
neither for people or for enviroment and. life will be safer and people will live
happily and healthy.
Conclution Despite of all the non-scentifics contraversal ideas about processed
GMO food. GM engeneering systemis making a sustainable impact in human
lives It should be given credit becaus of big changes that is making today and is
a worldwide issue to be concern of. UN resposable branch should invest to
further search into this field because there lots of to discover so, that we can
make better.
