7. O*Net is an Internet database maintained by the U.S. Department of Labor with the most up-to-date occupational skills and facts. Many employers use the O*Net when they write their job descriptions. You can, too! Find the skills needed for most jobs using O*Net.

8. O*NET is the primary source of occupational information in the United States. Knowledge is power. O*Net gives you information about occupations such as knowledge, activities, skills , work styles, and more. Add value to your resume with the power of O*Net!

10. * BTW The Summary Description is an excellent source for creating your Objective Statement on your resume. For example, “ Experienced Master Auto Mechanic position where I use my training and skills to repair automobiles, trucks, and buses, with specialty training in heavy equipment vehicles.” *BTW: By The Way 4 LOOK AT THE SUMMARY DESCRIPTION.

11. Tasks = Skills Employers Want for their Job Applicant. Use Copy/Paste to place the tasks you have in your resume.

23. Green Occupations: Green occupations will likely change as a result of the green economy. Green economy activities and technologies are increasing the demand for occupations, shaping the work and worker requirements needed for occupational performance, or generating new and emerging occupations. Bright Outlook Occupations: Bright Outlook occupations are expected to grow rapidly in the next several years, will have large numbers of job openings, or are new and emerging occupations.
