Day 1
When we flew to Madrid, we visited it
and then went to our hostel quite late
in the evening. Spanish students and
their guardians welcomed us there. We
had dinner together and we went to
sleep.

Day 2
The next day, after eating a delicious
breakfast at the hostel, we had time to
unpack our luggage and settle in. Later
we went to dinner, explored the city,
went to the park to play with our new
friends and eat some ice cream. After
lunch, we returned to the hostel and
went to sleep.

Day 3
The next day we visited our Spanish friends'
schools. They prepared a presentation for
us about their town. In the afternoon, after
lunch, they officially greeted us in
Socuellamos, at the town hall. we got gifts
from the city authorities, and the mayor
told us about the city. In the evening we
went to the swimming pool.

Day 4
On Tuesday, our goal was to visit Belmonte
Castle. We managed it and the castle
turned out to be beautiful. We ate our
lunch, visited the castle and returned to the
town. In the afternoon we went to karate
lessons, played basketball and volleyball. It
was a great day.

Day 5
It was a very exciting day. We were in the
museum of Miguel de Cervantes, where we got
acquainted with the works of the author of
Don Quixote. The next stage of our trip was Las
Lagunas de Ruidera, beautiful lakes located
among the mountains. At the end of the day,
we visited the wine museum in Socuellamos
and saw the winemaking process.

Day 6
On Thursday we visited Toledo, the historic
city is situated on a bend of the river. It
tempts with narrow streets, numerous
temples and monuments from three
cultures. One of the attractions was the ride
over the Tagus river. Finally, we found time
for shopping in the shopping centre.
