L’azienda nasce nel 1940 a Monteisola, quando Stefano Ribola inizia a produrre e a commercializzare tra i

The company was founded in 1940 in Monteisola - a small island in the north of Italy – when Stefano Ribola started to
manufacture and supply fishing nets to the fishing men living and working around Iseo lake.

In 1946 Battista Ribola (Stefano’s son) founded “Ribola Battista Nets Company”, based in Sulzano, Brescia. Battista
started to manufacture and supply hunting and fishing nets. All nets are handmade in cotton and targeted to a new
growing and demanding market.

7. 1979 Nel 1979 i figli Mario, Giuseppina, Franca e Luigi Ribola prendono in mano le redini dell’azienda e
FAR SNC fondano FAR, Fabbrica Artigianale Reti di Ribola Mario & C. SNC. Il Retificio viene trasferito in una
nuova sede di 1.500 m2.
All’offerta tradizionale si affianca la produzione di RETI SPORTIVE realizzate in fibre sintetiche.
Vengono acquistati telai moderni e assunti nuovi collaboratori. Le reti FAR iniziano ad essere
distribuite anche all’estero.
In 1979 Battista’s sons Mario, Giuseppina, Franca and Luigi Ribola, founded FAR Nets Company by Ribola
Mario & C. The company moved into a new location of 1.500 m2.
FAR started to manufacture SPORT NETS in synthetic fibers. Ribola’s brothers bought new looms and hired
new employees. FAR nets started to be supplied abroad.

Mario Ribola, keen on mountains lifestyle and mountaineer skier, studied and installed the first protection nets

10. L’AZIENDA OGGI
La forte identità familiare del retificio FAR è stato il motore di sviluppo
dell’azienda che si estende oggi su una superficie di 8000 m2 e conta una forza
lavorativa interna di 33 persone tra soci, impiegati e tecnici specializzati.
FAR Fabbrica Artigianale Reti è un nome conosciuto a livello nazionale ed
internazionale ed è sinonimo di reti Made in Italy oltre che un’importante
garanzia di qualità.
I metodi di trasformazione delle materie prime in prodotti finiti passano
attraverso il sapiente utilizzo di telai raschel, che permettono di ottenere diverse
tipologie di reti che trovano applicazione in tantissimi ambiti: sicurezza, sport,
arredamento urbano e parchi giochi, agricoltura e venatoria e,
recentemente, anche nel settore del geotessile.

Today FAR is extended on a 8000 m2 area and counts 33 people including
managers, employees and specialized technicians.
FAR Nets Company is worldwide known for its high quality Made In Italy nets .
Raw materials become finished products thanks to raschel looms, that allow to
obtain nets for all applications: security, sports, street furniture and playgrounds,
agriculture and hunting and, recently in geotextile area.

Nel 2011 FAR ha investito sul miglioramento del processo produttivo più di 1 milione di euro per l’acquisto di macchinari tessili nuovi che consentiranno di
ampliare l’attuale offerta di reti e di inserirsi in nuovi mercati. In 2011 FAR improved the productive cycle investing more than 1 milion of euros to buy new

18. IL CICLO PRODUTTIVO
Con i telai, gli orditoi e le macchine tessili di cui è attrezzata, vanta un ciclo produttivo completo: le materie prime
(filati in polietilene, in nylon, in polipropilene) vengono inizialmente sottoposte ad un trattamento di stabilizzazione
ai raggi ultravioletti. Dopo varie fasi di lavorazione: orditura, tessitura, termo fissaggio, taglio e confezionamento
vengono realizzati ottimi prodotti conosciuti ed apprezzati in Italia e all’estero.
FAR is well equipped with looms, warping and textile machines and it has a full production loop.
At the beginning raw materials (polyethylene, nylon, polypropylene spun yarn) are UV treated.
Then nets are warped, weaved, stabilized, tailored and packed. FAR nets are know and appreciated in Italy and
abroad.

STAMPA PERSONALIZZATA
Beach volley printed nets
Le reti da beach volley FAR sono prodotte secondo le
dimensioni standard e sono realizzate in polietilene, stabilizzate
ai raggi UV, termofissate e ad alta tenacità.
Le stampe personalizzate sulle bande superiori e inferiori e sulla
stessa rete ne arricchiscono il design e uniscono alla funzione
pratica anche quella promozionale ed estetica.
Curate nei dettagli, vengono corredate nella parte superiore di
bande in pvc o in poliestere ad alta tenacità, multicolore.
FAR beach volleyball nets are manufactured according to
standard sizes and are made of polyethylene, UV stabilized, high
tenacity and thermofixed.
The net custom printing on the upper and lower bands enrich the
design and combine the practical function with promotional and
even aesthetics purposes. FAR beach volley printed nets are
made with care. The upper band are made of PVC or polyester
high tenacity, multi-colored.

33. FAR @BEACH VOLLEY MARATHON
Ogni anno FAR rinnova la sua presenza alla BEACH VOLLEY
MARATHON, il più conosciuto e partecipato evento sportivo
open della specialità. Il torneo, organizzato tre volte all’anno
sulle spiagge di Bibione, vanta oltre duecento campi da gioco e
la presenza di migliaia di atleti provenienti da ogni parte
d’Europa.
A settembre 2011 le reti da beach volley con stampa
personalizzata prodotte da FAR, sono state protagoniste
dell'arena centrale, a fianco degli atleti agonisti e degli
appassionati di beach volley.
Each year, FAR take part at Beach Volley Marathon, the best
known and most attended sporting event in the specialty open.
The tournament, held three times a year on the beaches of
Bibione, boasts over two hundred playgrounds and involves
thousands of athletes from all over Europe.
In September 2011, FAR beach volleyball printed nets, have
been installed on the central arena, alongside the competitive
athletes and fans of beach volleyball.

RETI CALCIO TRICOLORE
Football nets with team colours
Per la nuova stagione FAR propone la rete calcio a maglia esagonale con
i colori della propria squadra. La rete a maglia esagonale è
realizzata in treccia di polipropilene e nylon alta tenacità Ø 3,5 mm è
stabilizzata UV e lavorata senza nodo. La rete da calcio è completamente
bordata sul perimetro ed è completa di corda per l'aggancio.
La rete da calcio è prodotta secondo le dimensioni standard ed è conforme
alla norma EN 748:2004.
FAR dà la possibilità di personalizzarla con i colori della propria
squadra.
For the new season FAR introduce a football net customized with team
colours. The exagonal mesh net is made of polypropylene and nylon
Ø 3.5 mm, high tenacity, UV stabilized and knotless. The football net is
fully lined on the perimeter and is complete with rope to the hook.
The net is manufactured in accordance with the standard dimensions and
to EN 748:2004.

Le reti da recinzione in poliestere prodotte da FAR sono tinte in
pasta nel colore blu, giallo e rosso, perciò durature nel tempo e
molto resistenti.
Adatte per la recinzione di aree gioco per bambini, playground e
strutture di contenimento palline, sono disponibili anche nella
versione ignifuga per l’interno. Le reti da recinzione in poliestere
sono multicolor: giallo, rosso e blu.

so long-lasting and long life.
Suitable to fence children play areas, playgrounds and balls
containment structures, FAR polyester fencing nets are also available
in fire retardant version.

RETI RECINZIONE NYLON
Nylon fencing nets
Funzionalità e durata nel tempo sono le caratteristiche distintive
delle reti in nylon progettate e realizzate dal retificio FAR per il
settore dell’impiantistica sportivo- ricreativa. Versatili e
polifunzionali, le reti da recinzione in nylon FAR sono pensate per
delimitare campi da tennis, squash e calcetto all’interno delle
palestre, ma sono ideali anche per la recinzione di piscine e
campi sportivi. Facilmente posizionabili con l’ausilio di speciali
cavi d’acciaio e ganci falsa maglia, non necessitano di
manutenzione. Realizzate in colore bianco, sono ignifughe e
termo fissate e sono disponibili con una maglia che varia dai 20 ai
100 mm. Per aumentare la durata si possono effettuare anche dei
rinforzi perimetrali che sostengono la struttura.
FAR nylon fencing nets, designed for sports grounds, feature
results and long life. FAR fencing nets are suitable for tennis
courts, gym squash and soccer grounds, but also for swimming
pools and sports grounds. Easy to install due to the special cables
steel and hooks, they do not require maintenance. Available in
white, nets are fireproof and thermofixed. The mesh range is
inlcude from 20 to 100 mm. In order to increase the resistance
FAR can also reinforce the nets along its perimeter.

40. PROVE CARICO DI ROTTURA Ultimate stenght test
FAR è attrezzata di un laboratorio interno per eseguire prove di trazione e rottura dei materiali.
Inoltre la ditta esegue regolarmente prove dinamiche e statiche per certificare i carichi di rottura delle reti e per attestarne la
qualità.
Nelle immagini la sequenza della prova statica effettuata secondo le modalità indicate dalla norma UNI EN 1263 – 1
(fase iniziale – intermedia – condizione della rete al termine della prova).
