Construction:
The Steam Generator is made up of genuine quality raw materials. Theouter frame is made
out of M.S. rolled section of suitable size while the outer covers are made of Cold Rolled
M.S. Sheet and painted with Powder coating.
The main Steam Generation and Water Storage tanks are made out of AISI 304 or
equivalent grade SS. The main steam generator tank is welded vessel suitable for
pressures up to 10 kg/sq cm. (Though operating pressure is 5 kg/sq cm only). The steam
generator has 2 tanks, Primary Water Tank and secondary steam tank, this split tank
arrangement improves the control over water level and in turn increases the life of heating
elements.
Ceramic Wool is used as Thermal Insulation, placed between Steam Generation Tanks and
Outer covers, so that the surface temperature of the cover on the outside is at Room
temperature as well as heat wastage is minimal.
The heating elements used are Industrial Water Heater suitable for 3 Phase, 440 V, AC
supply. The heaters are mounted at the bottom of the machine and covered with a Terminal
Box. The steam generator is supplied with Pressure Gauge and Glass Water Level
Indicator, so that the operator will have an idea about the system pressure and water levels
at a glance
Safety Instruction:
 Steam Generator needs continuous water supply, thus please make sure that the water
supply is not interrupted. The water level in the system is maintained through Water
Level Sensors and Solenoid Valve at inlet.
 Pressure Safety Valve is supplied along with Steam Generator which operates at 6 bar.
 Allow 500mm from the bottom, for removal/replacement of Electrical heating Elements.
Do not install Steam Generator near inflammable, corrosive materials.
Allow minimum 36” of clearance from all sides for maintenance of Steam Generator
