If nothing else, current Govt has made my kids much more political and angry/aware. That's got to be some

#mediaedchat In Canada, media doesn't stand alone. It's embedded across curriculum, i.e paid lip service. Model
could be argued for here.

Rightly so, we are the subject that has to consistently adapts and evolves, no room for us being stagnant

Declining trend overall tho.

#mediaedchat it's the least optimistic I've been in 10 years of teaching media as schools kowtow to gvmt policy
and Gove's agenda is clear.

Whilst I do think he had some very valid points to make in his keynote I think he was perhaps overly pessimistic.
