2. What kind of media institution might
distribute your media product and why?
 I’ve used the Internet Movie Database (IMDb) which is an
online database of information related to films, television
programs, and video games. The reason why I've choose this
is because they distributed similar horror movies in recent
years. Our opening sequence is similar to the list shown
bellow because it has dramatic/scary music, phone ring and is
a horror movie.
 Dimension Films distributed 146 films between 1991 and
2013, which have been very successful and a big amount wore
horror films, e.g. all Scary movies and Scream. Also they
realised extreme horror films such as Piranha 3DD. We would
like to choose this media institution to distribute our media
product because they’ve frequently released horror films and
they are successful in doing so; also they have experience in
this category so they will be the right pick for our opening
sequence.
