Snout the dragon lived alone in a cave and would shout at the other animals when they played nearby, breathing fire from his mouth to make them go away. A brave mouse asked Snout why he was so grouchy, and Snout replied sadly that the animals never asked him to play with them. The animals then invited Snout to play, and he was no longer a grouch after making friends with his neighbors.

15. Snout said sadly, “The animals do not ask me to play with them.”

16. So the animals asked Snout to play with them.
