(Introduction)
The mobile phone was probably one of the greatest inventions from the last century.
Most people can not live without it anymore. However, although it can be very useful, it
also has some disadvantages that we need to take into consideration.
(Development)
One of the most important advantages of the mobile phone, in my opinion, is that it is
multifunctional. We can a multitude of different things with it: besides making calls, we
can also send messages, take pictures, or even access the Internet, among others. Mobile
phones are also very entertaining, because they allow us to listen to music, play games
or watch videos. Another advantage is that they are very small and light and so we can
take them everywhere with us.
On the other hand, mobile pones can be very dangerous because of radiation. If we
use them too much we can have heart problems or even, according to some experts, get
cancer. Also, they can be a distraction. Students don’t pay attention to classes because
they are texting their friends. Some people also get distracted when driving, which can
2. be very very dangerous as they can cause serious accidents. The mobile phone can
become an addiction to some people, especially teenagers. Another disadvantage is that
they can be very expensive.
(Conclusion)
To conclude, I would say that mobile phones have lots of positive aspects and they
can be really useful, but we need to use them carefully and not let ourselves become
addicted to them.
