consciousness and defense preparedness of student as well as active contribution to the general welfare

2. Provide enhance common and specific modules for CWTS and LTS that will guide students to gain the appropriate knowledge and
competencies needed to contribute to the community in improving health, education, environment, entrepreneurship , safety, recreation and
moral citizenry and to teach literacy and numeracy skills to school children, out of school youth and other segments of society in need of their
service

3. Develop student knowledge, skills and attitudes needed for a a reservist of the National Service Corps (NSRC), which will form part of their
utilization in case of disaster or calamities

4. Ensure the application of uniform standards, processes and procedures that shall guarantee the effective implementation of the NSTP. P
3. Course Description : This course is designed for the development of the students as responsible citizens with a strong sense of nationalism and a profound spirit
of volunteerism through programs which will empower them to participate actively in the betterment of life of the members of the
community and prepare them to render selfless service to the nation. The NSTP Law, Good Citizenship Training, Drug Education, Disaster
Awareness, Preparedness and Management, Environmental Protection, National Security Concerns, Self and Filipino society, Volunteerism,
Peace Education, Dimensions of Development and, Introduction to Community-Based Management are integral parts of this course.
