• The narrative of this music video is about
Jessie J past and how she was bullied when she
was younger at school, this video shows a
little girl who gets bullied by a group of girls
at school taking revenge on the children who
have bullied her and by taking a stand, and its
to show all the people out there now that
bullied Jessie j that look at her now she
famous and has a good life. Jessie J also plays
all the adult characters in the music
video, from her class teacher who falls
asleep, to the dinner lady who sits chewing her
gum. Jessie portrays these characters so we see
that they didn’t have much time for her when
she was young. She also illustrates that they
are still stuck being unhappy with their jobs
whilst Jessie is very successful and happy.
4. Mise-en-scene
• The shot of the "popular girls" are
dressed in bright pink clothing which
gives the impression that they are self
conscious and are representative of
teenage girls at a younger age. The way
that the girls look at the younger Jessie
J also emphasises how they are the
typical bullies. Where as Jessie j wears
and baseball jacket and has black hair
so they could see her a an emo which
automatically makes her an outcast.
6. Camera shots
• The do a close up shot of Jessie J
with the fire extinguisher
spraying it at the girls this shows
that the younger Jessie j is
standing up for herself and is
making everyone laughing at the
girls who are getting spray so for
once its not her who people laugh
at.
