ABOUT GNIHM
Guru Nanak Institute of Hotel Management having the best and biggest infrastructure among
the private hotel management institutes in India, started its journey on the 1st of July in the
year 2005. Guru Nanak Institute of Hotel Management is affiliated to National Council for Hotel
Management and Catering Technology under Ministry of Tourism Govt. Of India, affiliated to

Technology
Bachelor in Hotel Management & Catering Technology (BHMCT) is a vocational course which educates and
trains aspirants to acquire professional skills that would help them in getting a job in the hospitality industry.
The main aim of the four-year course is to make students familiar with management techniques, processes,
and methods used in hotel and hospitality businesses. BHMCT is divided into eight semesters which involves
honing skill set and extensive knowledge necessary for jobs in the hospitality industry and training of
students who wish to open their own catering businesses.

B.Sc in Hospitality and Hotel
Administration
B. Sc. in Hospitality & Hotel Administration is a 3-year full-time professional programme aimed at
developing human resources for the Hotel Industry and Hospitality Services. The course spread over six
semesters, with a semester dedicated to Internship, equips students with all the required skills, knowledge
and attitude to efficiently discharge supervisory responsibilities in the Hospitality sector, and trains students
for a professional career in the hospitality industry in a broad category of fields within service industry that
includes event planning, hotels, catering, transportation, theme parks, cruise line, and additional fields
within the tourism industry.

Master of Business Administration or MBA in Hospitality & Hotel Administration is a 2-year full-time
postgraduate program in Hospitality Management, which emphasises on the application of business
principles and practices within the hospitality industry. The course follows a semester-based curriculum,
