follow Newton's Law. At the time of insertion the thermometer reads 82 degree farenheit. After
3 minutes the reading is 90 degree farenheit, and 3 minutes later 94 degree farenheit. A sudden
convulsion destroys the thermometer before a final reading can be obtained. What is the horse's
temperature?

newton s law = dT /dt = k(T-To)
T / t = k (T-90)
T2 /t2 = k(T-94 )
now 8/3 = k(T-90)..........1
4/3 = k(T-94)....................2
divide 1/ 2
we get 2 = (T-90) /(T-94)
here we get, T = 98
The horse's temperature = 98 degree farenheit
