• Just got my check for $500, Sometimes people don't believe me when I tell them about how much you can make taking paid surveys online... So I took a video of myself actually getting paid $500 for paid surveys to finally set the record straight. I'm not going to leave this video up for long, so check it out now before I take it down! ■■■ https://tinyurl.com/realmoneystreams2019

 1. 1. Contemporary Art and Teaching Art Creatively – Exploration of ways to engage contemporary art to catalyze creative art practice in classrooms
Julia Marshall + Aileen Wilson
NAEA Presentation 2011
2. 2. To teach creatively defined as “us[ing]imaginative approaches to make learning more interesting and effective.” Jeffrey & Craft (2004) p.1
To teach for creativitydefined as “ forms of teaching that are intended to develop [student’s] own creative thinking or behavior.” (p.1)
To teach for creative learning defined as “support[ing] students to use their imagination and experience to make sense of learning…to collaborate over tasks for example, contribute to classroom curriculum and pedagogy and evaluate their own learning practices, and teachers performance.” (p.16).
To have “professional creativity, defined as a sensitive eclecticism involved in an appropriate response to the curriculum and to the needs of groups and individuals.” (p.16)
3. 3. THE ALCHEMY OF CURATING
“…sometimes placing one work of art near another makes one and one equal three. Two artworks arranged alchemically leave each intact, transform both and creates a third thing. This third thing and the two original things then trigger cascades of thought and reaction…This chain-reaction is thrilling and uncanny.” Salz (2007)
