2. “By the grace of God…”
Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God,
To the saints in Ephesus, the faithful in Christ Jesus:
Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the
Lord Jesus Christ.
~Ephesians 1:1-2

3. Grace
Grace was the setting of Paul’s letters, because grace is the
setting of our entire lives!
“Charis” –
•evokes beauty, appeal , attractive power
•unmerited favor, a gift

6. Remember…
God’s grace (gift!) is the setting of our entire lives
Practical Exercise
Make your personalized “gift list” – all the things
you can think of that are a gift from God.
