1. COLOR TWIRL DESIGNER: Andreas Krapf, GERMANY Andreas brought his utterly unique and twisted vision to the Swirl pattern, creating a fantastical story of summer inspired by the glasses. Andreas’ was chosen for the tremendous sense of humor shown in his art, as well as his ability to tell wonderful stories in a quick and visual way.
2. COMICS DESIGNER: David Sosella, ITALY David was given the Comics pattern as inspiration, because his illustrative background brilliantly brings characters out of design and has a unique sense of storytelling in a single image.
3. BUTTON PINS DESIGNER: Marta Cerda, SPAIN Marta is a tremendously gifted and accomplished illustrator. Her interpretation of the Pins patterns represents what is well-loved about her style – an ability to create nostalgia of a 1980s video game graphic style while also being completely relevant and fresh today.
4. BUTTON PINS DESIGNER: Eric van den Boom, NETHERLANDS Eric’s use of spiralgraph allows him to take simple elements and create something truly intricate and fresh, as seen with his blowing-kisses design.
5. COMICS DESIGNER: Paul Reilly, UK Paul’s design was based on the Comics pattern. Paul was chosen for his ability to created controlled chaos – like the pattern itself, his use of different styles merge seamlessly
